For history enthusiasts, Rhuddlan Castle dates back to 1277 and is a short
drive, and further down the coast is imposing Conwy Castle. Conwy is a
wonderful spot to spend the day and is a vibrant town full of history and

Mawr, as well as independent shops, restaurants, wine bars and traditional
pubs. Walk the castle walls, catch a boat from the harbour, or go crabbing at

take a stroll along the promenade, visit the action-packed water park with
indoor and outdoor water play for all ages and abilities. For a more leisurely
option perhaps tour Rhyl Botanical Gardens, featuring a landscape park, and a
picturesque walking route.
Snowdonia National Park is only 30 miles away and a wonderful drive
along the fabulous North Wales coastline which is on the doorstep.
